In this comprehensive 39 hour training, we start with a definition of conflict that makes sense for the relational work we do, with a focus on the challenging human behaviours that we see every day. As we gain an understanding of the “how” and “why” of conflict behaviours, we will learn Insight skills and strategies that help clients discover their own insights, so we can do the important work of facilitating dialogue and supporting good decision-making,

As insight mediation is grounded in learning theory, we approach conflict with a learning lens, rather than one of containment or avoidance. The goal of this program is to help you start asking more, and telling less, with targeted curiosity that enhances clients' abilities to participate more effectively in designing their futures.

You will be supported by a committed group of fellow learners, who want to engage more effectively, and naturally, in conflict situations - and fix their "fixer" mentality!

This course includes 39 hours of live online training and at least 10 hours of practice exercises, guided independent study and recorded tutorials. You will have access to our Training Network where you can access all the materials at any time, including recorded live sessions and tutorials.

This training meets the requirements for most certifying mediation and collaborative practice organizations. We provide a certificate of completion for that purpose.
