We are glad you are here.
Let’s do this!

How to Get the Most Out of this Program

1. Work at your own Pace
Some weeks you’ll feel ready to double down, while others you might need a break. That’s okay! This program is designed to fit into your life. Switch up the order of tasks if an opportunity arises — flexibility is key!

2. Engage when the time is Right
“When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” Take what you need when you need it.

3. Stay open and collaborative
This is a community of lawyers looking to do things differently. Offer insights, ask questions, and approach everything with curiosity and a generous mindset.

4. Commiserate when needed.
Vent within this community if you need to — this is your safe space! Other lawyers in this program are also struggling with the desire to Ditch the old-school Tactics like endless letter-writing and positional arguments.

What makes this Community so unique:

🔹 We support one another: Collaboration is at the heart of this program. Whether it’s sharing ideas or tackling challenges together, we’re here to lift each other up.

🔹 We share generously: Your experiences might solve someone else’s problem, and their insights might do the same for you.

🔹 We challenge constructively: We bring up tough issues with curiosity and kindness. Together, we’ll think bigger and push for creative, transformative solutions.

We are still Lawyers!

Working out-of-court is still lawyering.
(Most lawyers spend most of their time NOT in court)

No matter what your future holds, you belong here.

Together, we can think bigger, inspire creativity
and bring transformative change to our work,
our lives and our communities.

Let’s get started.

How to Approach the Learning and Discovery

This program blends practical skills with self-exploration, giving you the tools to make informed decisions about your career and your future. I designed the journey to keep evolving, just like you. By exploring yourself alongside the program content, you’ll gain clarity, direction, and the satisfaction of aligning your professional path with who you are.

I invite you to tap into the power of curiosity—about yourself and the world of opportunities around you. Think back to when you decided to go to law school. You had ideas about who you were and were curious about where a law degree might take you. Maybe that same curiosity brought you here today.

Throughout this program, I’ll share my own experiences and how self-discovery led me to reimagine my place in the legal world. For me, that meant staying in law but radically changing how I work. For others, it’s meant stepping away from law and finding fulfillment elsewhere. You’ll hear from lawyers who’ve followed both paths, giving you a broader perspective to help shape your future.

Here’s the most important thing: Relax into the process. Let go of assumptions about where this journey should take you. My wise and loving mother would advise you to:

"Take 'should' out of your vocabulary."

"Should" is so limiting! Instead, think of words that are more intentional, open and empowering. Write those words down—on a sticky note, on your screen - somewhere you’ll see them often.

Surround yourself with signposts and inspiration. Visuals can be powerful reminders of what led you to transform your practice.

Take a deep breath — You’re right where you need to be.
Let’s begin.

P.S.: I love UK road signs and this one always speaks to me:
